The company contacted us to promote its website related to the topic of roller shutters. At the time of contacting, the site was created on the Wordpress platform. Visually, it looked quite decent, but faced difficulties in promotion.
We conducted an in-depth site audit and found that high bounce rates and poor engagement were due to a lack of thoughtful structure and usability issues. We have developed a website promotion strategy, starting with low-frequency queries and gradually moving to high-frequency ones. The main task was to create a “selling” website that not only attracts visitors, but also retains them, encouraging them to take action, such as filling out applications and calling.
We began redesigning the site, dividing the key phrase “roller shutters” into narrower queries with tails. Each page was designed as a landing page, forms for calculating the cost, calling a surveyor and other useful elements were added.
The process of developing the updated site took about three months. We created a concept, developed a responsive web design and prepared a semantic, valid layout. As a result, we integrated ready-made layouts into a more convenient site management system.
SEO components and all necessary service files were also configured. The night before the release, we uploaded the site to the customer’s hosting, carefully setting up redirects from old pages to new ones and updating the content.
The site was quickly indexed, and queries began appearing in the Top 100 within two weeks. During this period, the first applications and calls began to arrive - although there were few of them, 1-2 applications per day, the result was stable.
Next, we continued to work on internal linking, adding links to key pages of the site. After two weeks, mid-frequency requests made it into the Top 50, and after another two weeks into the Top 10. The number of requests increased to 8-10 per day.
As soon as Turbo pages appeared in the search engine, we finalized the component to integrate with this function. The editors began to actively publish interesting articles, which were additionally linked, which contributed to the further promotion of all related requests.
At some point, the customer proposed expanding the coverage and expanding the site to other cities in Russia, and not just to the Moscow region.
After a brainstorming session, it was decided to create subdomains for large cities in Russia. This work took about 2.5 months, after which we launched subdomains.
The process of indexing subdomains went quickly, and queries that were in the Top for Moscow began to occupy high positions in regional results. Traffic increased 10 times in a month, and applications began to arrive not only from Moscow, but also from other cities.
The company's staff has increased significantly, and new products have been added to the range, such as automatic gates and barriers.
Today the company is one of the leaders in the production and sale of roller shutter systems throughout the country.
So the startup expanded, expanding not only to the capital, but also to other regions of Russia.
