The first all-Russian battle of SEOs

The system of promotion services is launching an all-Russian battle of SEO gurus of all levels and ranks.

How the battle goes

Participants select a project and 10 key queries for promotion in the search engine. The requirements are simple: requests must be outside the TOP 10 at the time of promotion and have a frequency of at least 10 per month (according to statistics). The project and requests are assigned to the participant upon registration, and their changes are not allowed.

Participants have two months to complete the task. This is enough time to promote even a complex website. Contestants can use any promotion methods, including service tools.

After two months, participants present the results of their work, namely the positions of queries in the search engine. Points are awarded for requests that are in the TOP 10, and the higher the position, the more points are awarded.

Prizes for winners - up to 60,000 rubles

The prize fund is 200,000 rubles, which will be divided between 10 leaders:

• the winner (the competitor with the most points) will receive 60,000 rubles;
• participants who took 2nd and 3rd places will receive 40,000 rubles. and 25,000 rub. respectively;
• participants who took 4th and 5th places will receive 15,000 rubles. and 10,000 rubles;
• the remaining 25% of the prize fund will be divided among five winners in additional categories, regardless of the points scored.

Additional nominations:

• The most interesting niche is a project in the most difficult or unusual niche for SEO.
• The most unusual approach is a participant with a unique promotion strategy.
• The most interesting story about getting a link is an award for the most exciting story about getting a quality link.
• The coolest case is the most detailed and impressive project in the battle.
• This is a fiasco, bro! - nomination for the most creative failure in the project.

Jury of SEO Experts

The winners in the categories will be determined by an impartial jury consisting of experts in SEO promotion:

• Expert 1;
• Expert 2;
• Expert 3;
• Expert 4;
• Expert 5;
• Expert 6;
• Expert 7.

The jury will also give additional tasks and analyze interesting projects of the participants.

Scoring

Points are calculated using the formula: the difference between the start and end position of a request is multiplied by its frequency (maximum 100). The participant receives points for each request that reaches the TOP-10, and is additionally rewarded for getting into the TOP-5 and TOP-1. Requests that are not included in the TOP 10 are not taken into account.

For the most active participants, there is a chance to increase their points by completing additional tasks that will be published on streams, mailings and social networks.

Assignments will include various topics related to professional activities and the popularization of SEO promotion. For example, participants may be asked to talk about their project on social networks or share their first steps in search engine promotion.
