The fifth results of the experiment on total cutting and optimization of SEO for the ARC

We continue our experiment to radically reduce the SEO of the product card. The essence of the experiment can be seen in the previous report. Time has passed since the experiment began, and here are the current results.

Total number of keywords: 530 → 217

Average position: 366 → 148

Visibility: 16.54% → 47.19%

Views per month: 55.1k → 88.3k

Keyword positions:

  • 1-3: 0 → 0
  • 4-10: 2 → 12
  • 11-50: 88 → 85
  • 51-100: 51 → 29
  • 100+: 383 → 85

Among the pleasant changes: the share of keywords in positions 4-10 has increased, and the average position of a card has more than doubled! Gradually, irrelevant traffic and “water” disappear.

On the downside: the total number of keywords decreased, but views per month increased from 55.1k to 88.3k, which indicates a positive result in the long term.

After two weeks of the experiment, I think that the card is moving to the top for high-frequency queries in the right direction. We continue to work.

Advertising campaigns have not yet been launched, although there is a desire to increase traffic using ARC. The price is still lower than usual, which also contributes to promotion to the top.
