If you need to promote not only in cities, but also in other regions of the country, then the situation is similar. In Yandex, linking occurs using the same methods as for cities, but in Google you need to use the hreflang attribute. This attribute allows you to specify the language and country for each page, which helps search engines correctly determine the regional content.
You can even set up separate subfolders for each region, which will increase the likelihood of them being correctly indexed and increasing the chances of being included in the search results of the corresponding region.
