How did you get into SEO? How did it all begin?

The Internet developed, but at first it was not the main promotion channel - outdoor advertising and print media were mainly used. After some time, it became obvious that the Internet would become the most important channel, which would either displace others or become one of the key ones. And so it happened.

Did you immediately decide to create an agency, or did you first gain experience from others?

Of course, creating an agency did not happen right away, but it was my dream. I worked for different companies, studied business, and over time I realized that I wanted to do advertising, but I didn’t know where to start. My agency has been around for a long time, and I’ve been working in marketing for over ten years. If we talk about the creation of the agency, this was a consequence of several factors and the appearance of the right people nearby.

What are the main areas of your activity? Why do you highlight SEO among other types of advertising?

I don't focus solely on SEO, I take a holistic approach that includes PPC, Targeted Ads and Banner Ads. SEO is an important tool that needs a lot of attention. This is working with algorithms and mathematical data, and I am a mathematician by training, so this area is especially interesting to me.

Contextual advertising, such as Google Ads, is easy to set up: you create a campaign, predict it, and then analyze the result. SEO requires constant work. We offer a comprehensive service because SEO takes time to achieve results, especially for new companies.

How long does it take for a site to be indexed?

The time depends on many factors. A website can be indexed quickly if you properly configure internal optimization and register it with search engines. However, in order for the site to be visible for key queries, more time and effort is needed.

On-page optimization also takes time. For example, if a site is built from scratch and handed over to SEO specialists, it is important to make sure that the site has no technical limitations, is well indexed and its engine is optimal. If everything is configured correctly, the site can begin to reach the top after a while. For some topics, it is enough to properly configure SEO, and the site will grow as it is optimized.

But there are also highly competitive niches, such as “doors” or “parquet”. In such cases, promotion will be difficult and lengthy, because the competition is very high. An integrated approach is important here: contextual advertising, SEO and social networks, which can give an effect from the first month.

Some argue that SEO is dying. What do you feel about it?

Search engines have complex algorithms made up of many factors. The job of SEO specialists is to bring the site to a state where it will be understandable to search engines and respond to user requests. If you work on improving user factors, improving site content, then SEO will work.

Buying links is no longer relevant; it is an ineffective method that leads to negative consequences. However, if you work with quality links and pay attention to all aspects of SEO, then this tool remains viable.

What should copywriters do when faced with the question: write for people or for machines?

SEO optimization of text does not exclude the interests of users. It is necessary to create texts that will be understandable to the reader and comply with search engine algorithms. Yandex and other search engines strive to make their algorithms as user-friendly as possible, so texts should be written for people, not machines. This is the approach that modern SEO takes.

What tools do you use in your work?

I am convinced that SEO will not die as long as search engines continue to exist. It's just logical: if there is a ranking method, then you can always find ways to influence it. If search engines are here to stay, SEO will remain relevant, especially if you approach it holistically like we do.

What mechanisms does your company use for promotion?

External optimization includes building link mass and increasing website citations. We use PR, social media and other methods to increase site visibility. Plus, purchasing links on thematic resources remains effective if you approach it wisely.

There is also work with reviews, SMM and other channels. These areas are still developing in our company, but are already bearing fruit.

What are the prospects for SEO in the coming years?

SEO will continue to evolve, especially as it adapts to changes in search engines. The focus now is on creating relevant content and improving user factors. SEO will also become more customer-centric, with pay per traffic and guarantees based on click-through rates rather than rankings.

We use various resources to obtain up-to-date information about trends in the SEO market, such as specialized forums and search engine news feeds. It is important to follow algorithm updates and share experiences with colleagues.
