Client: Our client has established itself as a reliable supplier of laboratory equipment and medical consumables, improving the quality of laboratory diagnostics based on modern technologies.

Objective: Increase the visibility of the site and increase traffic to the site multiple times.

Where did we start:

  • Source traffic: 24,148 visitors per year
  • Initial number of visits from search: 44,072 visits per year

What we did:

  • Standard internal and external optimization: collecting keywords, optimizing landing pages, technical optimization, purchasing links, working out commercial factors.
  • Reworking of listings: we developed a new category template, added the ability to add products to the cart, and introduced a listing display format switch.
  • Increased the number of pages: expanded the number of commercial landing pages for mid- and low-frequency queries by creating tag categories and filtering for various product characteristics.
  • We implemented internal linking: introduced a block of links to thematic useful content in categories, a block of links to products in articles.
  • We created an information section: we added the functionality of an article section on the site, we publish several materials monthly, selecting the most traffic and interesting topics.
  • We implemented the functionality of an online store: added the ability to add products to the cart, implemented ordering, set up goals in analytical systems for tracking and analyzing conversion.
  • Product cards have been redesigned: tabs with descriptions, delivery, and instructions have been added. Unique text descriptions were created for standard products.
  • We optimized product cards by adding lists, tables, videos and documentation (registration certificates, instructions and specifications).
  • In the content part of product cards, we added information about services and links to related products, which increased trust in the site and user engagement.

Thus we came to the following results:

  • Search traffic grew by more than 15 times: from 24,148 to 405,000 unique visitors per year.
  • In recent years, we have been able to steadily increase traffic: 89% more unique visitors, from 213,159 to 405,000 people per year.
  • Excellent results were also achieved for the following queries:
    • 486 requests in TOP 1-3 in main regions.
    • 1649 requests in the TOP 10 by region.

These results were made possible thanks to the intensive work of the entire team. In just a few years, more than 1,800 hours were spent working on the project, including 900 hours on optimization.
