Our case: SEO website promotion

At the beginning of work on the project, a self-written control engine was used. After eliminating technical errors and setting up internal parameters, further promotion in search engines required working with external sources. This included expanding the semantic core and promoting highly specialized and highly converting queries. As always, we started with an audit.

How we achieved the result

During the work process, we conducted an interview with the customer to understand the promotion strategy and priority areas. Then a full technical audit of the site was performed to identify errors and eliminate them. The correct robots.txt file was also compiled.

robots.txt is a file that instructs search robots which pages should be indexed and which should not. The presence of this file is important for improving interaction with search engines and affects the ranking of the site.

We collected and structured the semantic core, adjusted the title and description meta tags for category landing pages.

The semantic core is a set of search queries that helps to understand the needs of the target audience.

title is the main title of the page, which should be written taking into account the collected semantic core, depending on the promotion strategy.

description is a short description of the page that is used in search results to draw users' attention to the content of the page.

• Filled out H1 headings in categories;
• We set a task for a copywriter to write unique articles, proofread them and placed them in the appropriate categories;
• Registered the site in online catalogs and review sites (70 resources);
• Added links from social networks to improve the authority of the site;
• Wrote and posted 58 unique articles for the “Useful” section;
• Performed internal linking;

Headings H1-H6 play an important role in the structure of the page. They help search engines understand which elements on a page are key and important.

Internal linking is the creation of links within a website between different pages, which improves navigation for users and search engines.

• Posted links to the site on thematic forums (23 links);
• Wrote unique articles on donor sites for posting links (9 articles);
• The site's positions were monitored monthly to monitor the dynamics of promotion.

Bottom line

After a year of operation, the client’s website took stable positions in the search engine, with 87% of queries in the TOP 10.
