When working on live projects, you will have to deal with real business problems, even if you don't have much experience yet. This is a completely doable task; many specialists started this way and succeeded.

In the case of freelancing, there is no such advantage, and you will have to look for answers to questions yourself, which can hinder development.
The worst option is to immediately go to work in a team that deals with only one type of project (for example, only online stores or only information sites). In this case, you risk becoming a narrow specialist, which will limit your career growth in the future.
