The taxi industry in small towns has become extremely competitive in recent years. Many companies create their websites to attract customers via the Internet, but often neglect SEO optimization, losing the opportunity to receive additional traffic from search engines.
In this example, we will talk about the successful promotion of a taxi website specializing in intercity transportation in one of the cities. Initially, the site generated almost no traffic, attracting only about 100 visitors per month. The goal was to significantly increase this number by applying effective SEO techniques.
Detailed description of the situation:
- The company provides intercity transportation services in its city and surrounding areas.
- The market is quite competitive, but many players do not pay attention to SEO.
- The site was created recently, but is not yet optimized for search engines.
- Traffic from search was minimal - about 100 visitors per month.
- The goal of the project is to increase traffic to 400 visitors per month through SEO.
Despite our narrow niche and limited geography, we believed that the right SEO strategy could lead to significant growth. Now let's look at what steps were taken and what results were achieved.
Before starting work, a detailed analysis of competitors and the current state of the search market was carried out. We studied the websites of leading taxi players in the region, identified their strengths and weaknesses from an SEO point of view, and also analyzed popular queries on the topic of taxi, their frequency and level of competition.
Based on the data received, requests were grouped by type, based on the stages of the customer journey:
1. Information requests (for example, “taxi cost from the city”, “schedule”, etc.)
