Feedback on SEO promotion of a tool and equipment rental website

I am always happy to solve non-standard problems in SEO, and I want to tell you about one interesting project.

One of the clients, Mikhail, approached me with a diesel generator rental business and partnerships with special equipment owners. He planned to create a portal from scratch where he could rent not only power tools, but also various types of heavy equipment, such as dump trucks. My task was to regularly advise him on SEO issues during the website development process.

We agreed on the following scope of work:

• Creating a list of recommendations for improving the site taking into account technical requirements.
• Analysis of competitors in the niche and drawing up technical specifications for website development.
• Recommendations for improving the resource, taking into account the commercial factors of search engines.
• Step-by-step collection, analysis and implementation of semantics to form the structure of the site.

Working on the project allowed us to answer several key strategic questions:

• Determining the promotion strategy for the future site.
• Directory structure development.
• Formation of a product matrix - composition and minimum sizes.
• Consider adding subdomains.

The project is still under development, and the business owner has many ambitious tasks to complete. But already at the current stage I can evaluate preliminary results and intermediate conclusions about working with the site.

Although the site has not yet been published, as it is being filled out and refined for SEO, I am interested to see how it will develop and what results we can get after the launch.
