Subdomains

The impact of subdomains on SEO is negligible. Therefore, in most cases they are not used for SEO promotion. However, in contextual advertising, a subdomain can be a useful tool for attracting users' attention, for example, highlighting a key phrase in bold.

History and age of the domain

Search engines such as Yandex and Google give preference to older domains as they are considered more reliable. However, an old domain does not always mean “high quality”. It is important to check its history, especially if you want to purchase an already used domain. It could have fallen under search engine filters, and it will be difficult to restore it. Sometimes you can find old domains that have not been renewed by their owners, and such domains often have a good history, making them easier to promote.
