One month, the owner of the site approached me with a request for help with optimizing search traffic. Its main goal was to generate leads through SEO. At that time, the site received about 1,000 hits per month for search queries, of which only 8% of queries ranked in the top 10.
Difficulties of promotion
- Cannibalization. There were pages on the site that duplicated each other. After technical optimization, we were able to get rid of these problems.
- Promotion during periods of instability in the search engine. We started working when SEO positions were extremely unstable.
- Lack of accumulated behavioral factors on the site.
Completed work
- Initially, a competitor analysis was carried out and commercial factors were collected to improve the content to increase the chances of good ranking.
- A complete semantic core was collected and implemented on the site for further optimization.
- A technical audit of the site was carried out. Errors were eliminated, pages that should not have been in the index were cleared, redirects were configured and 404 errors were fixed. The site speed was also optimized.
- Meta tags have been optimized and duplicates have been eliminated.
- Internal optimization of On-Page was carried out. Additional text has been added to category pages to help improve rankings.
- Work has been carried out to optimize behavioral factors.
