Case of SEO promotion of water delivery: how I brought the site to the TOP-1

Client

The water delivery company, which is one of the market leaders in its region, has been providing delivery services for several years. At the time of contact, the company’s website had significant problems with both functionality and appearance.

Task

Initially, the client's website looked outdated and did not meet the modern requirements of users and search engines. The following problems were identified:

  • Fatal error: Products were not added to cart.
  • Poor adaptation of the site for mobile devices.
  • The phone and email in the site header were images.
  • The Title and duplicate Descriptions are not optimized, the texts are not worked out.
  • Technical bugs including incorrect responses on 404 pages, unoptimized images, and other code issues.

The company was asked to create a website that would be SEO-ready and ensure a position in the TOP-3 search engines.

Result

After all the necessary work was carried out, the site was significantly improved:

What has been done

  • A semantic core has been collected and clustered for more effective ranking.
  • Pages have been created for various models of goods and services (for example, water coolers with different characteristics) and for delivery to various areas of the city and region.
  • Company cards on maps and local search have been optimized to improve visibility in local queries.
  • Using Yandex Q and Zen to receive free links through questions and answers, as well as publish materials on the topic.
  • Implemented Google markup, including ratings and price ranges, as well as FAQ markup to improve visibility in search results.
  • Optimizing site speed using Turbo pages and transferring the site to a powerful server to improve performance.
  • Development of a mobile version of the site, taking into account that a significant part of users access from mobile devices.
  • Implementation of the "Reviews" section to increase trust and receive additional traffic.
  • Regularly checking the site for technical errors using specialized tools.
  • Developing a content plan for a blog in order to create information traffic and receive applications.

All work was aimed at creating a website ready for successful SEO promotion, taking into account all factors that may influence its success.

The company's management later changed and the site underwent a redesign. My work was completed with the project.
