Is there anything else that can be done to improve site rankings and traffic? Of course you can! In this article I will talk about obvious errors that were discovered on one of the sites and what can be done to correct them.

The other day I received a request for diagnostics, in order to understand what technical errors there are on the site and how to increase its traffic.

For analysis, I requested reports, links to positions, access to webmasters and metric data.

? ABOUT THE TECHNICAL PART OF THE SITE

This site has several problems:

• Many redirects (about 24% of all site pages),
• The presence of broken links and some of them that are closed in robots.txt,
• Duplicate pages on the site,
• Incorrect configuration of website sections; there are folders and subdomains that are marked as “unuseful content” by the webmaster.

? BY TRAFFIC

Traffic to the site looks like a saw—the fluctuations are quite strong. I also noticed that traffic from mobile devices is 3-4 times higher than from PC. This indicates possible problems with the performance or configuration of the site on desktops.

? ACCORDING TO REPORTS

The reports look presentable, but do not provide a clear picture of exactly what measures were taken to increase rankings and traffic. There are many errors in these reports, and this is only what can be noticed at first glance.
