SEO website optimization - a case from my practice

SEO is an important process for both newbies and experienced webmasters. SEO refers to a set of actions for internal and external website optimization. As a result of competent implementation of SEO, the site receives an influx of traffic, which directly affects the income of the site owner.

Proper SEO optimization helps a website rank high in search results for targeted queries, and this is the main goal of optimization. However, many novice webmasters neglect this process, which leads to a lack of growth and development of the site, despite its creation. As a result, the site may never receive traffic, and its creation and development turns out to be a waste of time.

An example from my practice: one day a client approached me with a request to create a website. We prepared a website for it from scratch, and also gave initial recommendations for working with the platform. However, after the site was ready and handed over, the client showed no interest in further cooperation. She did not pay for the service, despite the work done.

The site had a women's theme, and although technically it met all modern standards, traffic remained at the level of 5-8 people per day. This number did not increase steadily, despite the fact that the client added about 60 articles to the site in six months. As a result, the site never became a source of income.

Several months passed and the project was closed. The reason was that for normal SEO optimization, the site required correct work with key queries, namely, with the selection of low-frequency queries for promotion. This solution would significantly improve the site's visibility and increase its traffic.

Unfortunately, the articles on the client's site either had no queries or were so competitive that it was impossible to rank well for them. For example, articles such as “The role of women’s dress in relationships” or “Family relationships in times of crisis” did not give the desired result because they did not reflect current search queries.

The moral of the story is simple: if the client had paid attention to choosing the right keywords and using low-volume queries for her articles, the result could have been completely different. It is important not only to create high-quality content, but also to take into account the needs of the audience and optimize the site taking into account keyword competition.
