Rating of SEO optimization of websites of Belarusian sanatoriums

Recently, a second large-scale SEO audit of 30 websites of Belarusian sanatoriums was carried out using 38 key parameters.

A year ago, we already conducted a similar check, and in this article we share the results of the second analysis, as well as compare changes in the positions of sites.

The changes in the ranking were significant. Some sites have shown incredible growth, rising from the bottom of the list to the top. At the same time, others, on the contrary, lost their positions. 13 sites improved their positions, and 13, on the contrary, lost them. Six sites retained their previous places in the ranking.

What is important to understand?

This ranking clearly demonstrates the importance of ongoing SEO optimization. There is a misconception that all you need to do is do quality SEO work and you don’t have to worry about competition. However, the results of this analysis show that SEO optimization is a process that should be ongoing.

If you stop working on improving SEO or stop improving your website, competitors can quickly overtake you and steal your traffic. These changes are not always noticeable immediately, but it can be very difficult to regain lost ground.

The main factors that influenced the growth in the ranking:

• An increase in the number of external links, which increased the trust of search engines in these sites.
• Additional optimization of content and creation of new landing pages, which improved the text component of the sites.
