Experiment on total cutting and optimization of SEO

One of our products has significant potential, and I have long wanted to fully explore it. In the spring, I collected all possible and impossible key queries and created a description of more than 3,400 characters. Did this bring improvement? Yes, but the significance of the keywords was negligible. The issues were resolved using automated advertising campaigns. They clearly demonstrated that excessive use of key phrases in the text leads to a rapid waste of the advertising budget.

I thought for a long time and weighed the pros and cons, but in the end, as often happens, I simply decided to act:

  • Analyzed relevant queries.
  • I checked the priority of the categories.
  • Removed everything unnecessary.

Of the 3,419 characters left... drumroll: 127 characters! The product card consists of two articles of different colors. For the more popular color, I left the SEO unchanged, and for the less popular color, I reworked the description. Now let's see what results this will bring.
